Dear Friends,
Here at last is the long awaited live recording of the famous Wurlitzer organ in
Burton Town Hall. This was recorded live at the Winter Beer Festival held in
January 2007.
The organ originated from Cleveland Ohio where it was manufactured in 1921.
After a fire in the Cinema, the organ was shipped to England in 1939 and
installed in The Forum at Northenden, Manchester. In 1971 the organ was
purchased by Burton Council and installed in its present location.
The organ is used regularly for Concerts, Dances and many other functions not forgetting the twice a year Burton Beer Festival!
